But everything falls apart when a mysterious ancient gold coin falls into her lap- who sent it, who is after it and why? Join the adventure as Kirsten Kelly journey's from Seattle to Cairo, Egypt in search of a possible portal within The Great Pyramid. Little does she know, she is the key to saving this timeline from Draco Reptilian's plans to destroy humanity!

My Story
This project is 23 years in the making. I am thrilled to present my first novel, 'The Mystery of the Gold Coin'

About the author...
Experience as a Felony Criminal Investigator for 14 years in the Seattle area working homicide, assault, drug, and robbery cases, was the inspiration to use as the backdrop in The Kirsten Kelly Chronicles. Chrissy grew up loving Nancy Drew, as well as television shows like "Charlie Angels", "Magnum PI", procedurals like "The X-Files", "Third Watch", and "CSI". Her love of soap operas with continuing storylines also played a huge role in the development of this book series and the character of Kirsten Kelly. Years of watching favorite shows and movies gave her the foundation to write not only a mystery series but also infuse a romance storyline. Ultimately, she is a fan and that's how she writes-- with fans always foremost in my mind.

With this inspiration, she created Kirsten Kelly, a new kind of heroine for the 21st century.

This action-packed sci-fi thriller is a perfect beginning to a series full of nods to films such as Star Wars. I loved the discussion about pyramids and their origins. Suspense builds from the very beginning. The author's descriptive writing style and attention to minute details make the story come to life. Because of their unwavering commitment to Kirsten and their objective, both Nate and Scotty are admirable individuals.
